There is something special about being recognised for your hard work and efforts. We are delighted by the fact we've been nominated for so many awards and in such a short space of time since we launched Airfro. I think this shows there is a real gap in the market for textured haircare and there is a serious need to fill that gap with the right products and in the right way. This award nomination, by industry experts, is all the more special because it is the Power List - for us this symbolises the power we have to change the status quo, to give power to those who do not have it, and that no matter your size you can make a difference. Airfro was born out of a love for our hair. To help change the narrative around curly hair textures, and to change the barrier towards health and fitness that textured hair can be (more that 45% of people with textured hair avoid exercise because of the time it takes to care for our hair). Textured hair is not a problem that needs to be tamed but a symbol of strength, power and beauty that radiates throughout our lives.

Airfro is gender neutral because beauty doesn’t need to be gendered. Airfro is sustainable because the world needs us, Airfro is natural because nature is powerful and we all need to be active and make the most of it.
