At Airfro, we believe that haircare should be as simple, effective, and good for you as the active lifestyles we lead. Our journey started with a frustration we couldn’t ignore: as parents of curly-haired kids, we found it nearly impossible to find haircare products that worked after physical activities like swimming or working out. The products that were available either didn’t cater to curly hair or left it dry, tangled, and weighed down—creating a barrier to enjoying the active lives we wanted for our children.
We knew there had to be a better way. We set out to create haircare products that would support active families like ours—products that would nourish curly hair, protect it after a swim or workout, and allow everyone to focus on the things that truly matter: health, movement, and joy.
Our Journey
What began as a solution to our own problem soon became something much bigger. After developing our first product—a swim shampoo designed specifically for curly hair—we were overwhelmed by the positive response. In no time, Airfro found its place in some of the most iconic retailers in London, including Harrods and Liberty’s. We were thrilled to know that our products were helping families embrace their active, healthy lifestyles. Innovation Rooted in Nature
Our products are built on innovation and nature’s wisdom. We believe in using natural, high-quality ingredients that have stood the test of time. For example, our swim shampoo features baobab oil, known for its incredible hydrating and detangling properties. This oil, extracted from the "tree of life," helps protect and nourish curly hair, leaving it soft and smooth even after exposure to chlorine and saltwater.
We’re also inspired by ancient practices. People with dreadlocks, for example, used rose water to cleanse their scalps without weighing their hair down. This gentle, hydrating ingredient is part of our collection, helping all scalps remain clean and balanced without the need for a shampoo or aerosol dry shampoo.
And then there are our waterproof headscarves—designed by us, not just for style, but for functionality. Whether you're at the beach or caught in the rain, these scarves help protect your hair from the elements so you can enjoy the moment without the worry of frizzy, damp curls.
